The Clock On The Wall

On the wall I watch the clock
Tick Tock Tick Tock
Places I want to be
Leaving early?  maybe thats the key
Places I have to go
Time speeding up- the chances are low
People I want to see
People that want to talk to me
Skip class is what I have decided
Yes my judgement might be slighted
Graduating in the future
Hopefully, so I don't have to be a moocher
On the wall I watch the clock

My phone has buzzed in my pocket
Oh no it's like lighting a rocket
Increasing the announce of sitting here
but why does a small box hold this much fear?
Class is important right now
So I should stop having a cow.
Open my ears and eyes
Listen and no more sighs
I shall learn
And make my brain churn.

Each minute I learn more
